アーチ状木トラス屋根と2階ギャラリーが印象的なインドアコート
有明テニスの森公園のクラブハウスと8面の規模を有するインドアコートの複合施設である。クラブハウスは当公園のテニス施設運用の拠点であり、利用者のための食事・休憩スペース・更衣室・シャワー室等が整備された。インドアコートは屋外コートと同じセミハードのサーフェスをもち、レクリエーションからプロ選手の練習等まで幅広く活用可能であり、季節や天候を問わず利用することができる。また8面コートの中央に2層の通路空間が挿入され、2階通路からはコートの風景を望むことができる。そしてこのコートは国産天然木を使用した木材トラスによるヴォールト屋根を特徴とし、テニスの森を内部空間にも表現するというコンセプトを明確に実現している。
The complex facility features a clubhouse and eight indoor tennis courts at Ariake Tennis no Mori Park. The clubhouse serves as the operational base for the park’s tennis facilities and is equipped with dining areas, break spaces, changing rooms, and shower rooms for users. The indoor courts have the same semi-hard surface as the outdoor courts, allowing for a wide range of uses from recreational play to professional player training, and they can be used regardless of the season or weather. Additionally, a two-level corridor space is inserted in the center of the eight courts, offering a view of the courts from the second-floor passage. The courts feature a vaulted roof made of domestic natural wood using wooden trusses, clearly realizing the concept of expressing the tennis forest within the interior space.
